Insurance

Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services.

Questions to ask your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:

  • Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?

  • Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?

  • Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?

  • Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?

  • We understand that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes appointments need to be rescheduled or canceled. To ensure fairness and maintain the integrity of our scheduling system, we kindly ask all clients to adhere to the following cancellation policy:Notice Requirement

    • Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time.

    Late Cancellation & No-Show Fees

    • Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a late cancellation fee equal to 50% of the session rate.

    • No-shows (missed appointments without notice) will be charged the full session fee.

    How to Cancel

    • You may cancel or reschedule your appointment by:

      • Calling our office directly

      • Sending an email

      • Using our online booking system (if applicable)

    Exceptions

    • We understand that emergencies happen. Exceptions to this policy may be made at the therapist’s discretion in cases of illness, emergencies, or other extenuating circumstances.
