Karyn is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) who obtained a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Western Connecticut State University and a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Karyn has years of experience working with children and families as a preschool teacher, social worker with the Department of Children and Families, and a Family Support Specialist. Karyn is experienced working with adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders in individual and group environments.

Karyn provides compassionate, client-centered counseling to individuals navigating life stressors, depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, and PTSD. Using a strengths-based approach informed by Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy, Karyn meets clients where they are and supports them in creating meaningful, lasting change. She believes in making your self-care a priority, teaching stress management techniques and incorporating grounding and mindfulness skills into sessions to manage mental health symptoms and enhance your overall quality of life.
