Christopher Porcher, LCSW
As Chief Operating Officer at CMHA, parent company of Flourish, Chris provides strategic leadership across both programmatic services and administrative operations, ensuring alignment with the agency’s mission and long-term vision. With over a decade of dedicated service to CMHA, he brings deep institutional knowledge and a steadfast commitment to advancing behavioral health initiatives.
In addition to his executive responsibilities, Chris plays a pivotal role in CMHA’s legislative advocacy efforts, championing policies that promote social equity and access to care. His influence extends beyond the agency through board service with organizations such as the Connecticut chapter of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and the American Savings Foundation. He also serves as a corporator for Thomaston Savings Bank, reinforcing his dedication to civic engagement and regional development.
A licensed clinical social worker, Chris holds dual Master’s degrees, one in Clinical Social Work from the University of Saint Joseph and another in Business Management. He further complements his leadership portfolio with certifications in Project Management and Six Sigma, underscoring his passion for innovation, operational excellence, and results-driven strategy.
